"Winter is on my head, but eternal spring is in my heart." ~ Victor Hugo
Baby, it’s cold outside! The south is enjoying a real visit from winter right now. Some areas even have several inches of snow. No snow in my area as I am too far south, but the temps are far below what we usually get.
Post-Covid, I have been dealing with an ear infection. More time spent lying around got me to think about the year ahead. What can I do to make THCountzWrites more attractive or engaging?
I have three ideas that I’d love to have your input on. Please leave a comment on the blog, or feel free to share your thoughts on social media. Truly, I NEED your thoughts!
1. Homebody Book Club. Meet online once a month and discuss the book of the month chosen by yours truly to discuss. I would provide three titles before for consideration. Consensus would win. Small monthly fee to participant and you would purchase your own book. This is perfect for someone who loves to read and talk about books but would much rather not have to leave home to do it.
2. Four-week online class on Finding Your Creativity. This is a class I’ve offered in person, but would meet online, once a week for four weeks. Class materials would be provided and yes, there would be some homework. If you are stuck or feel you have NO creativity, this is the class for you! One time class fee.
3. Greeting Card of the Month Club. Participants would receive one hand painted greeting card from me a month. Small monthly fee.
And here’s the BONUS. IF you become a Patron, you would get the choice of one of these for free, just by being a monthly supporter. There are three levels of support to choose from. For more details, visit www.patreon.com/thcountzwrites.
So….what appeals? Do you have other ideas? I’d love your thoughts. My hope for 2024 is to grow my patronage and share this journey of creativity with each of you.
The option(s) with the most votes will win. Please do not let me down. I really desire your input. I do not want to offer things that people do not have time for, or even interested in, so get to commenting!
In the meantime, stay warm and have a hot cup of coffee!
I’m thinking….
All sound great!
Good Morning, Dear Tracey,
Nothing like some creative ideas to get the blood pumping on this very cold Arctic-like morning here in MI!! Your ideas are all great, but for me I love the card of the month type membership:)! I love the artwork you do and perhaps a Theme of the Month type card would be an idea to consider?!! For me I love the outreach that cards/notes show to those we send them to. Getting your card last week with the treasures made me very HAPPY!! Sending along happiness in whatever form one can is a wonderful goal to ponder especially when it is so bleak outside-ha,ha!! Are you wanting to set a price to help us know what would be beneficial for you? Since I appreciate YOU I would like to become a patron to help you with this project!! Blessings, Pam
Hmm food for thought
I’ve never been involved in a book club (Unless you include small group at church 😊)
I’m willing to expand my library and I’m always willing to talk! Let me know!
