"In early June the world of leaf and blade and flowers explodes, and every sunset is different." ~ John Steinbeck
Summer break.
The most favorite words of all school children and teachers. I remember as a child looking with anticipation for the end of the school year. Summer seemed to stretch out before me like the white sandy beaches along the Gulf of Mexico.
This past week I had the good fortune of spending time with my client and friend Angela Porter. If you will recall, we recently finished the first in a series, “The Three Little Catfish.” (Psst! Have you purchased a copy for your little catfish? If not, click the link below.)
I encourage you to follow Angela on social media. Link is below. This will keep you up-to-date on all the neat things we have planned.
We met in Bay St. Louis by the Gulf and spent a couple of days together. We talked about future projects and dreamed big. We also spent time laughing and sharing life stories. It was a nice respite from our daily routines. We all need time to step away from the daily business of life and breathe fresh air.
This is where I tell you that I will be taking the month of June away from the Tuesday Blog. I have begun a new Eustace/Howard family tale and hope to have that up on SOTW soon. I am also in the middle of rewrites for The Red Chair.
I trust that you will enjoy your summer. Take time to stop. Have a cool glass of something and just listen to the sounds of the birds. Life is precious. We get so caught up in our responsibilities that sometimes we forget to include ourselves in the equation.
In the meantime, I encourage you to catch up on Tuesday Blogs you may have missed, plus there is a good size library of stories to read. I also encourage you to think about becoming a Patron. Your support means the world and helps me keep things going. Membership button is below.
Until next time, see you in July!
Will miss your weekly blog! Love you!
Will definitely miss the Tuesday Blog.
Smart of you to prioritize time in accordance with the season and selfcare.
Great advice!
